Unique Silver Dancers Releases Samba/Azonto Dance

 


The Unique Silver dancers are professional African dancers who begun in November 2011 set up by Screen Nation award winning actress, Sherrie Silver from the movie ‘Africa United’. Their aim is to encapsulate the audience by taking them on a journey into their exciting world of African dance with a twist. There routines usually include a mix of traditional dances as well as modern; they also include street dance and sometimes contemporary dance plus drama and comedy to help them convey a stories and messages to the audience during their performance. Occasionally the dancers make their own costumes.


The group consists of 7 females and 4 males however you can sometimes catch them performing as a trio or as a full group. The dancers do videos, shows as well as support artists and are often used for modelling. The main dancers include Sherrie Silver, Shukurra Ford, Rheanne Murray, Ayo and Uncle TC (George) from “Homebros”. The Unique Silver dancers have worked with a range of artists and Directors, both in the afrobeats and commercial industry.
