Axterix (Jimmy Adebo Brown), born August 9th, is a new face on the music scene in Nigeria, but a seasoned name in the underground scene for a few years now. While stuudying Economics at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Axterix recorded and released a few tracks that rocked the local charts in Ogun State and Lagos. Songs like Ghetto Queen and Jamming To ion made waves on the underground scen Graduating from the University, he has taken the plunge into the mainstream industry with new songs and music videos definitely aimed at the new “Street Hop” market.
His style of Street Hop mixed with Ragga is evident in the new song “Dogo”, the soon to be released follow up to his new song titled “Body Call”. Body Call is already released along with the release of the video directed by DJ Tee. A prolific writer, Axterix has joined the Do age family to take his music and career to another level, starting with the release of the two songs and one video, then collabos with a few established artistes as he records his first album titled “Doubtful Matter”.
