Recently, Its not unusual to see actors trying their skills in the music industry. With front runners such as Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jolade-Ekehinde and just recently Tonto Dike setting the pace with their outstanding success in the music industry, more actors are really picking up with an urge to try their God given skill in Music. One of those actors is our dear own “Segun Kelani” a.k.a 9ite Rain. Segun Kelani is a porpular yoruba actor and has done movies with likes of Bukky Wright, Jide kosoko, amongst others.
He has also produced movies such as abokusun, etc and was a supporting script writer for porpular movie OSAS. He realeased his First Single titled “Lasgidi Anthem” under Fresh Naija Entertainment. Lasgidi Anthem has all it takes to make you move your body all day. With Great lyrics, Perfect production, and fantastic Yoruba flows, i believe this guy has come to show that movie actors can also do perfect music. Lasgidi Anthem is a blend of Afro Hip Hip with an infusion of the Nigerian Dancehall flavour. This song has all it takes to make Nigerian asking for more from 9ite Rain. He is currently working on his album with top producers such as: Da Piano, rhythm, richie, etc
