Wale Oyenubi better known by his stage name “Mr Walz” is a Nigerian musician, a graduate of Petroleum Engineering (from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology), record producer, entrepreneur and occasional actor. As an ace producer he is in the habit of fusing so many genres into one big euphoric sound of freedom. it’s Genius! He is largely influenced by Afrobeat Legend FELA and this influence is apparent in his choice of lyrics from daily activities and delivers strong meaningful lyrics on his well crafted beats.
His style of music can largely be clasified under the ‘Afropop’ genre. His debut album “Walz Have Ears” is ready for release and awaiting a date.. on the album he worked with the rarest talents, the likes of K Switch, R2bees, J Sleek, ZaraGretti, Iceberg Slim, Sukiyaki, Iyanya, Seyishay and more.
