Telecoms giant, Globacom has terminated its contract with some of its ambassadors. This decision was made over the weekend. The affected ambassadors include, Rita Dominic, Ramsey Nouah, Mike Ezeruonye, Uche Jombo, Odunlade Adekola, Monalisa Chinda and Nonso Diobi.
Although the company has not issued an official statement, Uche Jombo appeared to confirm the development when she tweeted, ‘End of an Era…Begining of Another Thanks GLOBACOM for the opportunity 2 b an ambassador for 3yrs. i had fun, GLOBACOM.’
Sources say the actors were dropped because of a new policy at Glo which favours music acts over Nollywood stars who had almost monopolised the Globacom brand ambassadorship.
