Music. Food to the soul, and nourishment to our hearts. It was another night of beautiful tunes as the contestants one after the other took up the stage performing diverse R&B hits which rocked the airwaves in their time.
Gracing the show for the evening was R&B sensation Banky W whose presence added glam to the evening’s performances. He noted that the level of talent in the competition was high and even accoladed several of them for their performances.
Opening the stage was Immaculate, who did a flawless rendition of MY FUNNY VALENTINE by CHAKA KHAN and they all performed impressively in their own right the following songs:
Blessing – NEXT TO ME by EMELIE SANDE
Olawale – TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO by TEVIN CAMPBELL
Nancy – OVERJOYED by STEVIE WONDER
Margaret – SMOOTH OPERATOR by SADE ADU
Ayoka – HAVE YOU EVER by BRANDY
Jimoh – SHOW ME THE MEANING OF BEING LONELY by BACKSTREET BOYZ
Omolayo – JUST THE WAY YOU ARE by BARRY WHITE
Johnny – GOTTA GET YOU HOME WITH ME TONIGHT by EUGENE WILDE
Niniola – MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY by NATALIE COLE
David – SUPERSTAR by LUTHER VANDROSS
Simon – WONDERFUL TONIGHT by ERIC CLAPTON
Roland – ON AND ON by STEVEN BISHOP
After these performances, Ayoka(1), Jimoh(9), Johnny(10) and Nini(13) were placed on probation for flaws in their performances and they need
