Miss Tara Daviess isAn able contestant representing Nigeria in the upcoming Miss Black Africa UK 2013 Beauty Pageant holding on the 5th of October 2013 in the United Kingdom. Having worked relentlessly to scale through the initial screening hurdle to be selected to be a sole representative of Nigeria, her goal is to win the contest. And when she does win her aim is to create the awareness and importance for free,quality,compulsory education for children in Nigeria and Africa up to secondary school level.
Presently Tara is a banker at one of the biggest high street banks in the UK and alongside preparing to undergo a BSc degree in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Nottingham this fall. At the moment, Tara, her team and managers are working round the clock to create a huge awareness buzz to enable her win the crown for our dear country- NIGERIA. A handful of interviews have been conducted already,other mediums have been an online magazine page girl,website sponsorship advertisement and a Facebook and twitter presence. In the next few weeks prior to the event we are working on other avenues to broaden her awareness horizon. Voting for Miss Black Africa officially starts on the 1st of October 2013.
