We present to you The Joys Of MANHAS, Di’ja’s newest drawing by hand, with two pens and a sharpie done on acid Free 11.7 by 16 (A3) with wove paper. This was done in the name of her cousin Joy, who survived breast cancer and the MANHAS family who took such great care of @AphroDija while she was in Canada and have lost loved ones to cancer.
This drawing is for sale, but with a cause. It is now up for a silent auction and bidding starts at 55,000 naira an equivalent of 350 dollars. NOTE: 50% of the money will go a woman Aphro Dija met in Kaduna ABU Hospital suffering from cervical cancer and cannot pay for treatment and the other 50% will go to paying for the 10 women (5 of which are deaf) thanks to a random non-planned meeting with Dr I’nyamu Enyi who is also deaf with hearing aids) to get cervical cancer screening.
Therefore Aphro Dija’s company does NOT keep a cent of the money gotten form the auctioned drawing. Proof of payment and allocation money once auction is over will be delivered. For transparency, the and name of the recipient and highest bidder will be added into the white spaces left in the drawing, if you choose not to be anonymous.
Due to and privacy of the patient, names cannot be released, but at the end of the 14 days, the name of recipient can be released as per physician. The drawing will also be autographed. For the next 7 days, a picture of the most recent bid will be posted until the 14th of October, 2013. The highest bidder by the 14th of October will get the drawing and framed once funds have been received. Press etc will be included depending on your preferences.
