The recent Nigerian Broadcast Commission (NBC) ban on the musical videos of some Nigerian artistes has continued to spark off a trail of reactions.
Fans are faulting the NBC ban on twitter and facebook, and we now have reactions from some of the artistes involved.
In response to the ban, Psquare’s publicist, Bayo Adetu said, ‘we also just saw the story online this morning and we do not think that the NBC’s ban is justifiable’.
Mavin Records‘ artiste, D’Prince tweeted this afternoon, ‘Apparenty NBC has banned take banana video and some others? …Oh well more videos in works’.
Rising afro-hiphop star, Tillaman had this to say, ‘So they banned my Koma Roll video… We ain’t letting this stop us! Expect our reply coming up in a bit’.
Also commenting on the ban, KCEE of the disbanded pop group, KC Presh tweeted, ‘I think we have some drunk people working in NBC, what’s wrong with the videos they just banned?
Remember over a year ago, they banned 2shortz’s Superman dead too because he mentioned alomo in the video.
